I am too young to have witnessed the civil war but my iyeme witnessed it. One thing I can boldly tell you is they told me of how brutal those ibonsoldiers were with their few weapons o.

Some went to the war front without weapons and picked up guns from the Hausa soldiers they killed.

Habe you noticed no one ever talks of how many hundreds of thousands of Nigerian soldiers the Biafran rebels killed ? They only tell us if millions of Ibo civilians that died my dear it's all propaganda aimed at ensuring rebels don't get the wrong idea and try it again and yes it's the right thing to do.

Back then ,I remember my dad had an Hausa friend who fought in the war and whenever he visited our family house in Benin and talk went to the war he would become solemn and tell us how he never ever wishes to see another war again.

Yoruba youths , you guys have been abusing and attacking ibos and chest beating online everywhere.

Those guys have been silent have you noticed? You guys have threatened and even burnt down their markets yet the Ibos have been unusually silent.

Naturally, Yoruba and Igbos love themselves as shown by the amount of Yoruba and Igbos that marry each other every other weekend. Also, the Igbos are naturally welcoming people, they can cohabit with anyone or tribe.

All the care about is survival and business.

Now, to where you drifted, there's no war that is going to happen. Everything na just mostly online bants with some seriousness. If you noticed, this tribal war between Yoruba and Igbo usually comes up during election time. After election, everywhere goes back to normal.

This election period was escalated so high because of LP. Anyone who supports LP, whether it be Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, or any other tribe is called 'Igbo.' This thing was so pushed by apc and their cohorts to the point of sending thugs to go burn down a market.
