Esan Agenda Takes Centre Stage As Residents Reacts To  Ongoing Scheme By Obaseki, Philip Shaibu And Ogie

As we approach the Edo 2024 Gubernatorial election, the political intrigues in Edo State are progressively taking a quick turn, and many political gladiators have returned to the battlefield for the final fight.

With all of the politicking going on, it is evident that the race for Edo State's next Governor will not be won on a silver platter. There are numerous theories floating around about who will be in charge of Dennis Osadebe Avenue...

However, the state's ruling party, the PDP, is split between backing the governor and supporting Philip Shaibu, the state's deputy governor.

There is a kite flying that the State Governor, Obaseki, is covertly plotting for the SSG, Ogie, to take over as his successor. This move has clearly sparked some hostility within the PDP as important stakeholders have activated their Goat Eyes on Obaseki.

In addition to having a devoted disposition, Osarodion Ogie certainly gives off the impression of being cool under pressure, which is in some ways a strong quality for a leader. Funny enough, he doesn't come across as desperate while simultaneously seeming well-suited for the position.

Osarodion Ogie, who has served as SSG for eight years, is from Edo South and appears to have the perfect BLUETOOTH connection with Obaseki.Ogie is from same Edo South as Obaseki.

Now serving as deputy governor is Philip Shaibu, whose constituency of Edo North ceded authority to Obaseki's Edo South. It is clear that Philip Shaibu is qualified because he was a previous member of the House of Representatives and the House of Assembly and served for 8 years as deputy governor.

Yet, based on sources, Philip Shaibu does not appear to be Godwin Obaseki's top priority, even though he is still important in the grand scheme of things. For instance, the election in Edo State would automatically have three parties next year.

When the results of the last presidential and National Assembly elections are considered, it is evident that the state now has a three-party system, with the LP, which has a large following in Edo South, serving as the debutant.

According to the plot, Obaseki would desire Philip Shaibu to run for the PDP ticket while he secures Osarodion Ogie for the LP and sponsors the party in the governorship elections. Alternatively, there may be a chance for both parties to work together.

However, all parties concerned have denied these permutations and claim they are the product of troublemakers, yet as Napoleon Hill once remarked, "behind every setback, obstacle, or disadvantage there is the seed of an equal or opposite or greater advantage or benefit."

Edo residents have reacted to the trending gist by claiming, surprisingly in large numbers, that political parties should apply equity and fair play to the Edo 2024 Governorship election, stating that it is time for Esanland to take control of Dennis Osadebe Avenue and calling on all political parties and stakeholders to key into the Esan agenda.

The Esan agenda has resurfaced and appears to have seized centre stage, with people claiming Esans are more than qualified to mount the stage.

According to a respondent who summed the mood of thousands of Edo Residents views on power shift Theophilus Idemudia said " I think these rumours are mere distractions from the big issues on ground , at this stage we should be talking of equity and fair play and pass the baton to Esanland they are more than eminently qualified and are best suited for the job.

They have continuously demonstrated their vision and stand for a single and united Edo Nation, and their cooperation has been a great support to Project Edo State.

I kindly request that all political parties embrace the Esan Agenda and put out qualified candidates for the electorate because Edo deserves better.

Idemudia's viewpoint, which is shared by thousands of residents across the three electoral zones, is gaining traction.
