I told them I can't do trans and I don't have an atm card, a lady said she would follow me to bank to make the transfer,( meanwhile I was already looking for escape route)

Even with the crowd in bank the lady insisted that we should wait.

When it got to our turn the man said we can't transfer money to other banks , I told the lady I'm going to transfer it when I get home buh she asked me to wait for her that she wants to collect a Uba acct no. From the oga.
As she commot like this naso I japa

I remembered the girl I was seeing long ago received an interview SMS. From the wordings and the location, I knew it was GNLD or similar time wasters.



I warned her, but she was an inexperienced jobseeker, unlike me who already had a PhD in jobseeking.




Anyways, we took off to the place in Lagos and got there. It was in an estate (probably to deceive inexperienced jobseekers). The building itself was magnificent, and the car park was full giving the impression that all the staff members had their own cars. Anyway, I was not fooled. But my girlfriend was. We met a big crowd already waiting.




Soon, they began to file in. I waited for her outside. We got there around 9:30 am. In the SMS, they said the interview was for 10am. They didn't file in until 12pm.





Around 3pm, my girl came outside. I wondered if she was done with her own interview. She said they put them in a big air-conditioned hall and one woman had been jabbering since morning, giving motivational talks about how she founded the company and moved it from zero to something. I told her to remember that I had warned her about these time wasters. My girlfriend was still optimist. She went back inside and did not come back until around 5pm. She said they are asking for registration fee, that I should lend her 20k. I almost lost it there. I reminded her that I had a PhD in this jobseeking field.





My girlfriend was still optimistic o. It was like jazz. I had to walk out on her before she ran after me and we left.

I had my own funny experience today,it wasn't funny far say, somebody I knew from Facebook today she had a job interview for me today and I was so excited,she also told me they produce wine and is a big company,as somebody that needs a job I was desperate to have one, so I asked her the name of the company she told me, sparkling wine venture (fake) so as a modern day boy I decided to do my own research about the wine 🍷 company, to my surprise it does not exist in the location she mentioned. I knew something was fishy

So I decided to calm down,

She now started asking me how much I made from my last job which I told her,she also asked me how much was I worth now, I told her that's a stupid question for somebody that is trying to help me to gain a job, if I have money I won't be looking for small paying job.



She now told me to come with my application letter ✉️💌 and which I did, I prepared my application letter ✉️💌



So I went there with her to the place she told me is a company that produces wine 🍷



Only to find out is a seminar

Many jobs people like me were present..



Imagine borrowing 1k just to go for a job interview , only to reach there it was a seminar on how to make us reach, me way never chop since morning.we are asked to register with some amount of money, I was disappointed.



They only thing I gained was there motivating spirit...

It happened to me in Uyo, one guy was talking about the countries he's travelled to, the millions and all... I just checked how they were dressed, i laughed.
The gave us exams which i wrote well. Dem come talk its a must to register with 20k.
I know must people wanted to leave but didn't have balls.
I stood up, about 3 of them asked where i am going, i told them i amleaving, they said nobody is allowed to leave.... I said whattt.

Moved to the door, one idiot wanted to block. I clear am say this town my affiliation solid o... Say na 1 phone call i go make and no be police i go call, the type niggaz wey go show this place go shock dem.. The guy as a gentleman opened the door for me. Immediately i was downstairs, i saw about 5 other applicants coming down stairs laughing...

Early Post-NYSC when I needed a job badly, na so I get one invite like that with one indian company for Abuja. I got there and first thing was interview, next day was aptitude test then individual presentation. I was like, 'Omo dis people get standard o'! Before I go say dodo I don see say dem dey share t-shirts & fez caps for us, na so I stand up for the class say I no do again. I carry my own t-shirt and cap dash one other guy say make he add am join him own for the work. Straight to the park na so I return home.

This ppl made me trek from lasu gate to iyana isolo that year. The only time I had ever begged for tp on the road na gnld cause am. It shall never be well with them.
