There are vacancies for part time Gym Instructors in a reputable Fitness Centre in Akobo. Successful applicants will be expected to work 4 out of 6 days/week.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify the clients’ fitness level and health.
2. Oversee completion of exercise routines and track clients’ physical progress.
3. Modify exercise plans based on needs, potential injuries or health issues.
4. Conduct individual and group fitness training sessions.
5. Adopt a holistic training approach (e.g. cardiovascular exercise, strength).
6. Oversee the use of fitness equipment to ensure clients exercise properly and safely.
7. Handle nutrition and health-related questions.
8. Recommend and promote fitness packages and plans to the clients.
9. Carry out First Aid and CPR if needed and follow safety and hygiene guidelines.
Requirements and skills
1. Minimum of 2yrs previous work experience as a Gym Instructor or similar role.
2. Knowledge of diverse exercises and how to adjust plans according to each client’s needs.
3. Ability to instruct and motivate people.
4. Excellent communication skills and Teamwork.
5. Proven experience of CPR and First Aid.
6. Minimum of Ordinary National Diploma.
7. Professional Fitness Certification will be an added advantage.
