"Igbo people like to boast. Bunch of chestbeaters."

My dear, it's in our nature. It's who we are. If you pass through what Igbo people passed through and succeed the way they do, I don't think you will also keep quiet. If you go through what they went through in Nigeria and succeed, I am sure you will fly and shout your name.

I don't want to tell you to read History and know how far.

Self-praise is not arrogance. You may call it arrogance, good for you. That's what keeps him going. The more he praise himself and what he has achieved, the more he re-evaluate himself and do more.

For a man who worked so hard and arrived at a result, he decides to shake hands to himself, if it pains you, why not try the same thing? Don't you have chest to beat?

Igbo man is self-made. No government support. Every government policy against him, he will find way around it and rake in millions, then, you think his chest should be for fancy? My dear, na drum. He must bëåt it and dance to the rhythm of his success. If you get angry, you know what it's.

A lizard fell down from atop tree. He looked up and down, looked at himself, nothing happened to him. He nodded and said: "if nobody praise me, I will praise myself."

I paused!

You passed through nothing.. Go read about "Doctors without borders" and their many humanitarian struggles to save dying Igbo women and kids and those starved almost to death during the civil war.
Ojukwu must be in hell fire now for leading a war he wasn't mentally fit for.. His own kids were drinking bournvita with milk inside bunker with him while Igbo masses were starving to death with their kids. Tales have it that it was the starvation that led to some Igbo clans becoming cannibals, eating their fellow human flesh to survive.

If not for Gowon and Awolowo that considered God in your matter.. Y'all would have been history, forgotten forever.

Why aren't the Jews chest beaters then? After all, they endured centuries of slavery and suffering , yet they are one of the world's most secretive people. Brother, say something else.

You guys need to quit encouraging the chest-beating attitude because it exhausts you completely. I suppose bragging to your enemies about your weapons and even your plan, like Nnamdi Kanu was doing before he was apprehended, is even the sole reason you lost the civil war. You folks need to get used to working quietly. Simple!

If I'm sleeping and wake up to hear Yorubas beating the drums of war, I will go back to sleep" - Gen Ibrahim Babangida,1993

General Ibrahim Babangida never made such statement.. Get your facts right.

In fact, IBB was forced to hand over power to Ernest Shonekan in the interim govt. following the protests in the West over the annulment of June 12, 1993 elections adjudged the fairest and freest election in Nigeria that M.K.O Abiola won. He knew he had to go when Yorubas rose against him.

it's only Yorubas that have fought tooth and nail against Military dictatorship in Nigeria.. Igbos on the other hand have always supported and enthroned anarchy in Nigeria all of the time e.g. Igbos one million man march in support of Abacha when Yorubas were fighting for return to democracy.

The same Igbo man that couldn't stay in his region is claiming to be self made. The greatest lie is lying to your own self. If you say that Igbo don't have government support please what has been happening to the allocations gotten from federal government and all the state governments revenue. If you are not benefiting from your own state governments, at least you are gaining from the government of other regions who made your stay comfortable for your 4 square shops.

Most everything about you be lies 🤣 I sense inferiority complex
