Opay has been banned.

Opay Digital Services Limited: OPay is a one-stop mobile-based platform for payments, transfers, loans, savings, and other essential services for every individual. The company is licensed by the CBN as a mobile money operator and boasts over 18 million registered app users and 500,000 agents in Nigeria who rely on its services to send and receive money, pay bills, and many more.

Opay is clearly listed there.

Nigeria is in the 19th century when compared to Ghana banking wise. Mobile money has been in operation for long in Ghana!

Why not relocate to Ghana and leave us in our 19th century life? Don’t you know 19th century is more peaceful than your your 20th century life of chaos , uncertainties and cheap deaths?

Nigerians are really the problem of Nigeria. Sometimes I wonder wetin dey worry us for brain. If government has refused to help us, can't we help ourselves? If government has decided to suffer us, must we suffer ourselves? You know sey new note is scarce yet you dey reject old notes....

Not just rejecting old notes, many have refused to accept and transition to these cashless systems!

I visited a market, saw a lot of Southern sellers refusing to accept transfers and no POS... Yet in the same market, Hausa tomato and onion sellers were using these cashless systems and making serious money.

A lot of us just don't want to embrace change or adapt! Especially here in the South.

Every smart commercial bank that has been in existence should work on its cashless system and make it excellent!

If not... They lose customers and deposits massively!

I just dey look UBA, Zenith, and First Bank with corner eye! SMH!
