So Igbos are now reorienting Yorubas or what are you trying to say? The same thing that got you people in trouble last week is what you are still doing

Well, I believe nothing can stop Tinubu from ruling except God, and I also believe he'll run Nigeria with excellence. I mean he did it in Lagos, right.

Meanwhile, I believe we have a lot of orientation to do to ourselves and ilks, as Yorubas. We have to explain to us how magnanimous we've been and our excessive friendly nature can cost us down the line. Others are subtly taking advantage of these and we may soon have ourselves to blame if we don't look to check things. We have to protect ourselves.

Two, we have to help ourselves grow up. The rich and top ones should now start looking to help the lower and poor ones around, through anything substantial - information, education, financial aid and so on.

Three, we have to go back to trade, master it and supply it with dexterity. In top markets and Lagos especially, we have to get in healthy trade competition with the Igbos, with due respect to them - I mean competitive prices, huge varieties of goods and services and all that. We have to diversify away from the traditional education, artisanship and white collar path we're usually driven for. More so, those on the artisan path should take steps forward to polish it by immersing fully into trade, internationally, nationally, exports and imports. All these, coupled with our education will pit us collectively in a better position than we sit.

The competition is with ourselve and position. The orientation to win and outdo ourselves must start soon, with actions, to preserve us.
