A while back on Twitter I saw a tweet where a vendor was complaining about UNSERIOUS buyers who just ask for price and ghost๐Ÿ˜….

Definitely there's two side to this coin.
There are a few things dealers do that stresses the buyer and seller alike, and even makes them appear illegitimate, to mention a few:

1)Secrecy in price: I am certainly not the only one who can't wrap their head around why anyone would hide the price of an item they put up for sale. Help me help you, just tell me the price already!

2)No pictures: Some sellers often forget commerce is not literature. People want to know just exactly how what they are buying looks like, not just a glimpse, but as much detail as possible. I saw a thread here one time where the seller wants prospective buyers to travel from their state before they catch a glimpse๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.

3)No contact detail: Maybe in the time of magic people summoned each other or sent ravens, but that's definitely a lost art in this age. Why on earth would you up an item for sale with no means of contact, really?

Let me stop here, feel free to add yours.

Dishonesty: You will bid for $1 but, your alternate account is still battling with the $5 price given. Especially those that doesn't display price, any small thing DM.

Agent of agent: The one that stylishly bid, and you get ", I will get back to you" message after seeing someone that might pay higher, next is "sold out". At the end they might come back saying "I just want to sell to you" because I need cash urgently, otherwise you won't see market like this anywhere.

A well known Kazeem here does not put price of vehicles he puts for sale. And whatever else may be said about his character, I haven't heard anyone accuse him of dishonesty in all his years of dealing in vehicles here.

I am not sure it's proper to tell a man how to run his business.. If it will kill you to make a simple call or WhatsApp message to seller enquiring about the price and any other thing you need to know, then ignore the seller and face those sellers who post adverts the way you like them..

In any case, I dey wait for thread discussing windowshoppers who give car dealers more stress than genuine and capable buyers.
