In 2022, 24th February precisely, when Russia began it's Military Operation in Ukraine, the songs from the mouth of Western leaders was to "squeeze life out of Russia and Putin". They intended to achieve this through ECONOMIC SANCTIONS.
Before the Operation even started, there was a place for negotiation but Western backers of Kiev vehemently refused to look the way of the Table, where Russia hat sat in wait for a possible negotiation, preferring to threaten Russia with Sanctions.
Fast forward to 2023, a year later, Western companies and those of their allies evacuated Russia, allowing Russian Firms to take over the delivery of such services and products.
In the West, Inflation has gone up history high due to lack of energy source to replace the displaced Russian source.
Economic hardship is biting hard on the West and, the US is having her own share with prices of Shares falling ground low and established Banks Folding off.
While all these are going on in Western economies, Russia has learnt to live, sustaining self without their closest neighbours, establishing new friends and economic partners as well as seeking to overthrown the existing World Order and a US Dollar dominated economy.
Surely, sanctions have failed, it was easy in words, the theory was perfect but the practicalities have proven otherwise.
