Nigerians Voted For Peter Obi, Not Labour Party by FreedomfromtheT: 9:38am On Mar 25, 2023 |
I just noticed that at the recent 2023 presidential election, most Nigerians voted for the Labour Party simply because of Peter Obi. At the state levels, the same people who voted massively at the presidential election for the Labour Party in states such as Nassarawa, Lagos, AkwaIbom, Cross River, Rivers, Edo, Plateau, Imo, Adamawa, Ebonyi, Abia, Anambra, Enugu, Benue, Kaduna, Bayelsa, Taraba, Delta, etc voted for other candidates of other parties. So my inference is that the same people who voted Labour Party at the presidential level, would still have voted for the Accord Party, the ADC, the SDP, APGA, NNPP or any other political party if the charismatic Peter Obi had moved to any of them. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Sammy07:It is called opportunity. Some politicians wanted to capitalize on the Obidient Movement and win elections while some Obidients themselves wanted to build the socalled structure which the big parties claimed Obi doesn't have. 4 Likes |

Sammy07:Obi actually campaigned for other Labour Party candidates at the federal legislature and state levels. While some of them won, some lost as people preferred voting for candidates instead of parties while some lost due to voter suppression, intimidation, thuggery, violence and rigging by the well established parties. 5 Likes |

Peter Obi also told his supporters to vote individuals and by competent, not voting druglords and ex-convicts because they are in your party, like zombies in APC 5 Likes 1 Share |

Agreed, OP. 🙂 Many Nigerians voted for Peter Obi/LP in the Presidential Elections. But in Governorship, some PDP (or APC) candidates had Outstanding pedigree, so Pple switched to them. It clearly Showed the POLITICAL ENLIGHTENMENT of Nigerians! 1 Like |

Some propagandists are trying to use the performance of the Labour Party in the states to insinuate that Peter Obi couldn't have won the presidential election. They do not want to tell people that there are people who voted personalities and not parties. There are people who perhaps voted only during the presidential election but did not vote during the gubernatorial election either due to choice or for safety reasons. I personally voted Labour Party and Peter Obi at the presidential election but did not vote during the gubernatorial election. |

OBI RIGGED PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION IN THE SOUTH EAST AND LAGOS. MORE IBOS ACTUALLY VOTED FOR LP IN THE GOVERNORSHIP ELECTIONS. THE PERFORMANCE OF LP IS MINUS THE RIGGING OF PRESIDENCY. OBI HAS NO COATTAILS |
Re: Nigerians Voted For Peter Obi, Not Labour Party by FreedomfromtheT: 3:21pm On Mar 25, 2023 |
spearman:Sir, are you really making sense? How does someone without a councilor, without any local government chairman, without any commissioner, without any a sitting governor, without any minister, without any police commissioner etc rig an election? If Obi rigged the presidential election in the Southeast and Lagos according to you, what stopped him from rigging the gubernatorial and state houses of Assembly elections for his candidates in order to build structures for himself? 1 Like |

FreedomfromtheT:Obi might or might not have rigged but its absurd to have 0ver 95 percent in a whole state |
Re: Nigerians Voted For Peter Obi, Not Labour Party by SkrewYou: 4:59pm On Mar 25, 2023 |
Escarpon:It is not, it depends on how the masses of a particular state view the candidates. Obi did not rig election, by the way, in which state did he get over 96% of casted votes? |

URCHINS ARE VERY STUPID IN NATURE. WE ARE VOTING FOR COMPETENCE NOT PARTY. WE ARE ALSO BUILDING STRUCTURE FOR PETER OBI. OBI IS COMINg |

Can't you idiots stop your stupidity for once! Nigerians, which Nigerians voted for Obi Pandora Ambassador? Nigerians of kano or Jigawa and other North west states with over 20 million votes? Nigerians Of Borno, Yobe, Bauchi and other North East states with about 12 million votes? Is it Nigerians of Niger, Kwara, kogi and other North central states with over 15 million votes that voted Obi? The entire south east votes stand at 10 million which constitutes the least of all other regions. Now tell me how Nigerians voted for him? Some of you only went to school but you are still not better than the illiterates roaming the streets of Enugu and Abakaliki! You can't rule Nigeria under Democracy without having a reasonable number of votes in the bag from NW, NC and NE, NEVER! You can all go to hell Obi-diots 1 Like |

Re: Nigerians Voted For Peter Obi, Not Labour Party by FreedomfromtheT: 8:32pm On Mar 25, 2023 |
Escarpon:How do you think it absurd for a candidate to have more than 95% in a whole state? Do you know the percentage of votes president Buhari had in Jigawa, Sokoto, Katsina, Kano, Zamfara, Yobe, Bauchi, Kebbi and Borno states in 2015? |
Re: Nigerians Voted For Peter Obi, Not Labour Party by FreedomfromtheT: 9:14pm On Mar 25, 2023 |
Zandena:Your insults and propaganda cannot change the reality. Sometimes, hatred and bigotry doesn't allow people think straight. The 2023 presidential Nigeria election was not a two-horse race. It was a race among four major Muslim contenders - three Muslims and a Christian. Nigerians from various tribes and religions voted massively for Peter Obi of the Labour Party. The Northern Muslim votes you keep stressing were shared by Atiku, Tinubu, Kwankwaso and Obi with Atiku getting the lion's share followed by Tinubu and Kwankwaso. For your information, majority of the Muslim Northern voters voted massively for Muhammadu Buhari in 2011 yet former president Goodluck Jonathan won. So Peter Obi with his overwhelming or moderate votes from Lagos, Abuja, Kaduna, Delta, Edo, Anambra, Enugu, Benue, Plateau, Adamawa, Oyo, Taraba, Imo, Cross River, Bayelsa, Nassarawa, Ogun, Abia, Kogi, Ebonyi, Ekiti, Gombe, Ondo and other states could have won if the accurate election results are released. Thank you. |

FreedomfromtheT:high but it was not up to 95 percent still |
Re: Nigerians Voted For Peter Obi, Not Labour Party by FreedomfromtheT: 10:02pm On Mar 25, 2023 |
Escarpon:It is possible for more than 95% of voters in a state to believe in a candidate and thus vote for him/her. This is especially so when such people feel so much marginalized and see the candidate as their hope of having a sense of belonging in their country. So it is very much possible. Thanks. |

And Is OBI in PDAPC? FreedomfromtheT: Then give him the mandate in the states HE WON. You can keep your mushroom governors and house of assembly 'criminal structures'. The presidential win WAS A CLEAR WIN. |
Re: Nigerians Voted For Peter Obi, Not Labour Party by FreedomfromtheT: 10:19pm On Mar 25, 2023 |
KanwuliaExtra:The winner of the presidential election doesn't necessarily win all states. I don't know of any candidate that has ever won all states of the federation. The point is that I believe that if the results are properly counted, Peter Obi won the majority votes. |
