It started with just a small misunderstanding between the youth of the two tribes which resulted in the idoma people attacking and killing 2 Igede youths. In retaliation, they burnt houses and properties... Since then the Idoma people have taken beyond the smaller communities involved and attacking Igede people living in Otukpo. This is a call for immediate intervention by the government cos the Igede people are well known to have skilled in warfare. Caution the idoma people to stop attacking our villages. If this escalates more, families might turn against each other cos of the inter marriage between the two major tribes in zone c part of the state. Cc. Seun and other mods fp will help reach the right authorities to intervene.

This is terrific! Spewing blood cannot resolve this, it will rather worsen it. The two heads should as a matter of urgent call for resolution and look into this to avoid further bloodbathing... |
