A lot of Nigerians, especially APC supporters are oblivious of the implications and tentacles the Tinubu,s narcotic case. This is one singular case that could either make or mar Nigeria's democracy.
It is no longer news that Tinubu was convicted for drug-related offences in 1993. According to the document, the monies held in those forfeited accounts were proceeds from white heroin drug operations operated by Aknade and his partners.

Details from the now-circulated court papers show that Michael J. Shepard, the attorney for the Northern District of Illinois, said in 1993 that the court has jurisdiction over the case brought to it by special agent Kevin Moss.
Akande had a strong and well-connected narcotics business, whose proceeds were substantial and kept in the forfeited bank accounts, the document shows.
The affidavit revealed that the defendant’s—Tinubu funds—represented a substantial part of the proceeds from this operation or property involved in money laundering. Judge Michael believes based on indisputable evidence that the funds belonging to Tinubu stashed in his Citibank and First Heritage Bank accounts were proceeds from Akande and other narcotraffickers’ heroin operations.

In 1999, the same Tinubu was elected Governor of Lagos State, just a mere 6 years after he was convicted of criminal charges of drug dealing. Unknown to Nigerians and his then opponents, this criminal presided over the affairs of Lagos state in utter violation of Section 182(e) of the Nigeria Constitution. For the avoidance of any doubts, Section 182(e) states as follows: “No person shall be qualified for election to the office of Governor of a State if … “within a period of less than ten years before the date of election to the office of Governor of a State he has been convicted and sentenced for an offence involving dishonesty or he has been found guilty of the contravention of the code of Conduct”.

The fact that Tinubu did not disclose his narcotic sentencing in 1999, is direct violation of the constitution. Further than that he even swore on Oath that he was never convicted of any crime, which is perjury. So, when I see people quoting section 137, and hallucinating that Tinubu's narcotic case is status barred base on section 137 (e), I pity them.

So, fellow Nigerians, do you still believe that Tinubu was qualified to run for the presidency in utter violation of the Nigeria Constitution?

See you at the Tribunal … e go hot ooo!

The same way Hope Uzodimma of Imo State forged a US University Certificate he presented to INEC. I hope you people will drag him the way you drag Asiwaju. Nonsense.

Is Hope Uzodinma a graduate?

He also claims has a bachelor's degree in International Studies and Diplomacy from Washington University in St. Louis but reports indicate otherwise. Prior to his entry into politics, Uzodimma was a businessman with vast business interests.

Why is NL allowing these misinformation by wilfully ignorant people. How could they have convicted Tinubu and he was governor twice, was senator, travelled to US numerous times and never denied visa. Do you need a brain transplant?
