On 9th October of February I made the payment of 120,000 to this man, the payments were made to a stanbic account with the name Otikpoko enterprise, He was referred to me by my elder brother a year ago (it was after this incident I found out that they never met in person),I never used his services then as i am usually very skeptical of of the payment-before-service methods of many Nigerian business due to the high rate of scam associated with online purchases, I just used to watch his status he placed people orders and he delivered, (judging fom his WhatsApp posts), I even searched him on Nairaland and all seemed well

So I made payments to this man for a power station, I got a remote job on February and I need constant power for my laptop as we all know nepa and it’s issues, I decided it was better to get it instead of a generator, After I made payments this man started hesitating to reply my messages, prior to making payments he told me that he’d get it immediately the payment dropped, after making payments I kept messaging him for updates to know if the item has been delivered to him, it was almost 2 and half weeks later on the 25th of February he messaged me that he received it, I shop on Amazon frequently and I just knew that he didn’t order it when he promised he would because items rarely take that long to be delivered, that was the last message I got from him,

All emails and messages I’ve sent to him never got a reply, my brother who is currently in the US too tried his Us number too, severally and he told me the number is no longer in service too, this was the same number he used to call me the day I placed the order,
the only thing that made me use his services was the empathy he showed when I lost my mum last year, He offered his condolences when he called and I told him I just left US after the burial, I sent the money that instantly because he seemed really genuine- I can remember it was 12pm at night and his call woke me up, I guess that’s how he got into my head,
I’ve pleaded with him to refund me and it’s been to no avail, he obviously thinks he’s invisible in US and one think he should know is that my money will never go like that, I’m an orphan and an undergraduate too, I know how it’s hard for me and how I manage myself, 120k is not small, there’s no way he’d go Scotfree with my money I swear,
You guys should just be cautious, not everyone
