'God gives And God Takes',how True Is This Statement by Truthsoldier(m): 5:10pm On Mar 26, 2023
I discovered lately that most people misunderstand this statement and this didn't start today,it's been there even right from the bible days...

I can state here categorically that not all things that do happen to a believer is as a result of God been involved, most times it is as a result of ignorance that makes some people pass it off to be so.

I know of a woman who lost 5 of her grown up children, she is a believer,a prayer machine but this evil happened to her,the old woman said that it doesn't shake her faith that it is God that gives and he is the one that takes.

I feel that this statement is actually not true in some cases because some things that happen to people can either as a result of sin, family bondage or even demonic manipulation and ignorance of God,his word and his character.

but what do you think,I think we need to discuss this....

God opened His hands in the beginning to give us so many things {Matthew 5:45} but it's mismanagement that leads to loss of what God has given us not that God decides to take it back. Ecclesiastes 9:11-12

As regards life God never said He wants it back in the beginning rather this is what actually happened~

And Jehovah God went on to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living person. Genesis 2:7

“From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will certainly die.” Genesis 2:16-17

Consequently, the woman saw that the tree was good for food and that it was something desirable to the eyes, yes, the tree was pleasing to look at. So she began taking of its fruit and eating it. Afterward, she also gave some to her husband when he was with her, and he began eating it. Genesis 3:6

So from the beginning God only gave life but it was due to man's rebellious attitude that death became his portion {Romans 5:12} the only thing God can do but which He chose not to do that day (for a reason) was to quickly set back the hand of time, mankind will continue to experience death until He (God) decided to stop death {Isaiah 25:8} but before then we must learn in a hard way to trust the giver of life whose instructions only can preserve us alive forever! John 3:16
