MOTHERS ARE THE BEDROCK OF THE SOCIETY AND DESERVE TO BE CELEBRATED.

Mothering Sunday is a special day marked to recognise the influence of mothers in society. It is a day that avails us yet a golden opportunity to celebrate God's most wonderful gift to us, our mothers.
The place and importance of mothers in society can not be overemphasized. The critical roles they play in bringing forth life, nurture, tutelage, guidance, and counselling are invaluable to mankind.

As we mark Mother's Day today, I join in celebrating the contribution of mothers and women to family building and societal development. There is a popular saying that a mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take. The mother is the most essential figure of attachment in a child's life from the cradle, and their roles as the bedrock of society are inestimable.

It is my earnest prayer that God continues to bless our women and strengthen them in their roles as life's mouthpieces and timeless teachers in the classroom of life.
Women, especially mothers, are the most influential educators.

Conclusively, I wish to encourage and appeal to all mothers to continue to live up to their responsibilities by sustaining those key roles that shape our country's future, raising responsible children and great leaders.

I celebrate my late mum, my lovely wife Uche, and you all.
May God continue to bless everyone of you beyond measure.
