The APC government gave the PDP a golden chance to get back to Power on a platter of gold as proven by the dismal, horribly inept and incompetent government they ran but the PDP failed to grab that opportunity with both hands and feet.

Rather, it continued defiantly with the prodigal set of old brigades that helped in sounding the death knell on its stay in Aso Rock.

By giving the ticket to Atiku who led the charge in decimating the party in 2015 when he moved to the APC alongside the foxy Tambuwal, the PDP became the proverbial rabbit that dug itself deeper into the mess it had created.
