“Thank you for rekindling our waning hope for a Better Benue for all”, Chief Mrs Comfort Briggs Celebrates Alia/Ode on election

By Stephen Ogbu

Benue grassroots politician, Chief Mrs Comfort Briggs Lokpobiri has joined a host of others in series of celebrations since the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the governorship candidate of the All Progressives (APC), Rev. Father Hyacinth Alia and his deputy, Hon. Sam Ode, Mni as the winners of the March 18th governorship election in the state.

In her felicitation message, Mrs Comfort Briggs Lokpobiri noted that the victory of Rev. Father Hyacinth Alia and his deputy, Hon. Sam Ode, Mni, has rekindled the hope of many Benue citizens who had almost given up on the state, due to the nearly 8years of PDP administration, which she explained has left the state in total darkness.

She expressed her optimism that the incoming Alia/Ode administration will lead massive reforms that will benefit every section of the state.

“I have no doubt that you and your deputy possess the requisite capacity and character to engender many reforms that will birth a better Benue for every Benue man and woman”, she wrote.

Finally, she thanked the electorates for their peaceful and orderly conduct before, during and after the election, describing them as an important pillar of Nigeria’s democratic process.
