They shouldn't reduce it further. Young people can start from house of assembly, house of representatives, local government chairmen, etc.

The governor of a state is a powerful person; it shouldn't be for young people. If you want to fight an incumbent governor, you must have the resources, influence and people. You want to have 10 million in your account and challenge Supreme Court governor who controls billions?

That man is not just a mere governor; he is a political animal who has strong rigging machinery all over the state. Imo Labour Party needs someone who is strong enough to match him fire for fire if they really want to defeat him.

If they put it to 100k, its someone lile you that will still say its expensive and it should be free or 10k. The idea of that amount is to raise funds for the functionality of the party and to weed out people like you who will go to buy a 100k form just because its 100k. I have seen anybody that wants a public office that does not command some form of influence or is well to do. They will be able to raise that money if they are serious about contesting for a governorship post

I think 15 m is okay because it helps with raising funds to run adverts in radio TV DStv internet and also fund the party remember they can't ask for funds from ordinary members.

See a good common man who wants to run can easily find a sponsor.

Their form suppose no pass 100k and free or maybe 20k for youths women and PWD.
But some of us have always pointed out that Lp wont live up to expectation and the way different LP state chapters ditched their candidates on March 18 shows them as clearly an eror. Just like the way obidients (igbos) ditched Nnamdi Kanu is the same way they will soon do away with eeluu pee

No you would have said 10, 000 naira, House of assembly 5000 naira, then councillorship 2000 naira, so that it will make more sense.
