Your problem is literacy and the usual hircine aggression that Obidients have
If you can read and comprehend simple English you would see that the link provided never said anything about Abuja and 69%
You are he one arguing blindly and foolishly
In 2007 INEC NEVER told us the number of voters in any of the 36 states or Abuja and NEVER gave any percentage for Abuja and so we
HAVE NEVER been told whether Yar'adua got 25% in Abuja
That information has NEVER been made public
INEC just provided communication to tell us that Yaradua got 24,638,063 =69.6% nationally full stop. There was no breakdown.
If you were literate you would have deduced that
Go back and read what he posted about Maurice Iwu

So the claim that All presidents have got 25% in Abuja is a lie
No one knows what he got in Abuja in 2007
Oga if no one knows then move on, so what are you trying to proof, we know what BAT got sebi. Are you happy now.

Na like this you dumb reach? Even if it's so, can't you do some research before coming here to display your dumbness? Anyways, for your information the president is not seen as the governor of FCT as you claimed the political office holder seen as the governor is no other than the FCT MINISTER.

So submitted
the FCT minister hold a the position on trust for the President

For those asking what's so special about Abuja.

Abuja is special for 2 reasons:

1) It is the Federal Capital Territory, ie the seat of power

2) The president is it's governor.

Thus, the constitution is clear that you must have at least 25% of the votes in Abuja. This shows acceptance by the people you intend to govern.

If president is there governor, they should have a house of Assembly to make laws. If the governor should be accepted by the people he tend to govern, how come the people dont even get to vote who makes their laws(National Assembly and House of representatives) ? The rest of the 36 states decides who makes their laws (National Assembly) and governor not the other way round, you get it now.. So they cannot hold the decision of the rest 36 to install a president to ransom that ahain shows you that your 25% in any way yoi look at it is against the spirit of the constitution.. Yhe constitution is prpposing democracy with spread and 25% etc suddenly the same constitution cannot suddenly become tyrannical and say abuja can hold the rest of the 36 states hostage.. Monority over majority.. No way..

In my earlier explanation i gave you.. A kano scenario can ocvur.. Some wins 34 states and kwankwaso king kano in this case King of Abuja wins Abuja landslid and has less the 25 % in 30 states are you saying 34 states cannot be declared winner winner and he will go into a run of just because of the king of Abuja? Oga you don't even understand the spiof yhe constitution then..

The argument is not about equality of votes. The argument is that Tinubu did not have up to 25% in FCT against Nigeria's constitution.

Abi do you know more than SANs?

The Constitution says all votes in all Areas are equal

Olodo ni e. The FCT is not the representation of Nigeria as a whole. It's just like every other state in Nigeria.

Let me educate you and your likes this morning
The constitution says a presidential candidate has to win the highest number of votes[b/] and also has to [b]win 25% of the votes in not less than 24 states of the federation and the FCT before he/she can be declared the winner. Right?

If you put the second conditional statement up there in another way it will be: the candidate has to win 25% of the votes in not less than 24 states of the federation including/excluding the FCT.

The above statement can only lead to another argument because it can be misinterpreted. How? It simply can mean 1) Election may not hold in the FCT because result there is inconsequential. 2) The people of the FCT have no say on who becomes the president of the country.

So the best that can be adopted of the conditional statements regarding the 25% of the FCT is the one that's being adopted presently by the constitution. If I have 25% in 23 states and the FCT, the two summed together is 24 states which gives me winning. In the other way, if I have my 25% in 24 states already and I don't have 25% in the FCT, I still win.

Capeesh?

They won't heed. It's needless to stress oneself on them because no one is blind as those who refuse to see. Save yourself from stressing further.

Why then is Abuja the FCT?

Why doesn't FCT have State house of Assembly?

Why is there no Governor Of FCT if it's equal to other states?

Why is the president the administrative head of FCT, whilst other states have their Governors as their administrative head?

If you bypass all these and claim FCT is like every other state, then I have nothing to tell you.
