So, i have this guy on my Facebook list and he talks about using payday to pay for service since they offer naira to usd swap and then it's unlimited just that it's at black-market rate. So three days ago (27th march) I decided to open an account with them and use thier services simply because I wanted to create a video and I'd need to show my audience the site to use and every step by step process of the account creation too. So I decided to register and credit my account.

ACCOUNT CREATION

the account creation was actually smooth and even though it's around 12/1:0am with no light (well light area) I was able to verify the account after couple of trial because they rejected my nin. It's through bvn I used to verify and complete every account verification things.

ACCOUNT FUNDING

so after the verification, I proceed to funding of my wallet. There's no way to add fund to the account like using paystack or any other embedded features, you'll have to pay to third party account that was created for you by payday in thier app and since everything was automatically generated, I never really suspect a foul play because I've been using some sites like that too that I've been paying through that channel. So I proceeded to funding my wallet.

NOTE: Two Bank account was automatically generated for me. Wema bank and globus bank. I paid to the globus bank (it's my first time hearing that bank seff) but since I searched for it on my kuda app and found it, I went ahead to pay the money through my kuda bank account.

The transaction was successful and I went back to my payday but my account hasn't been credited yet, so I never bothered and just decided to sleep till the next day and continue my operation.

As you can see above, I shared two image with account right? Both accounts can be found on my payday Dashboard when I newly created the account. But At the time of creating this thread, it's only one account I could find on the payday Dashboard hence why I shared the screenshot from my kuda account thank God it's Kuda I used to send the money, I love being a steap ahead in my dealing 😅🙂.

Why Removed the account I paid into in the first place from my dashboard if this isn't to cover up which account I transferred into in the first place.

AFTER LIKE 2/3 HOURS

I decided to check in again but was disappointed that my account isn't funded yet with the money I made to the globus bank. So I check through the app and see their help desk page with inbuilt chat and email, so I settled to use the chat since I believe it'd be more easier. I message them and hoping to get response 💯 but unfortunately, none was forthcoming 😢😭

EMAIL APPROACH

I decided to use email to tackle the problem by mailing their support mail address. I just went straight to point in my mail. But unfortunately again, no reply.

And in 2021 when I created my kuda account, I remember having pending verification issue, that it was on Twitter that I get to contact them swiftly and got my problem solved. I decided to head over there and search for thier handle.

Unfortunately, they've disable thier DM features so I decided to do what every frustrated person would do my commenting on thier tweets and that was when I noticed that majority of people are having the same issue. I read over few and see some positive and mostly negative. I just decided to go make the tweet on my own account and mention them..

The above link is from thier user that have multiple transaction pending since 3days ago 😂

What point are u trying to make? The problem may actually be from ur bank, Kuda, cos of recent if u use Kuda to transfer money to some banks, it could take like 3 days to drop.

THEN I CAME ACROSS A CERTAIN TWEET ABOUT CO-FOUNDER OF PAYDAY HAVING INVOLVE IN SCAMMING HIS FELLOW WORKERS FOR YEARS BEFORE HE THEY GET TO KNOW IT'S HIM AND WAS DRAGGED ALL OVER THE TWITTER SPACE

I'm still looking for that tweet cause it was yesterday I saw it and then I haven't see the recent comments from other users experiencing the same thing and funnily enough, they're responding to tweets under comments to DM em but yet the dm is actually locked. Meaning they're not receiving any message from thier users...and then they made a tweet that people should join them on telegram that they'd get fast replies to thier queries 😳🤣

HAD IT BEEN I'M ACTIVE USER OF TWITTER NIH, I'D HAVE BEEN OPEN TO ALL THIS INFORMATION AND THAT WOULD HAVE SAVED ME FROM BEING A VICTIM TOO😭

Here's the tweet that the co-founder of the app have done something similar to this before and now, he's doing it again in a Grand style.

They're activity updating the payday app and even roll out new base version today. But trust me they're not attending to any issues regarding the unsuccessful transaction

So it's truly a scam under the disquise of offering a services. The guy I saw vouching for there services later did a video review on them since last year and I don't see that. It was the first impression that I see that last longer..

Scamming no good. Just imagine if the services that the said FAVOUR ORIJ WEJAPA isn't for scam but truly what they try to represent, they'd be making name and then who knows what might happened next. After all paystack is now used almost every part in Africa. You think for long time goal not the short time
