Fire guts Olowu spare parts market in Lagos

Fire has gutted the Olowu spare parts market in Lagos. The fire incident occurred on Thursday morning.

Vanguard gathered that some shops engulfed by the inferno contained air-conditioners for sale, parts of vehicles, and motorcycles, among others.

The traders lost goods worth millions of naira to the fire outbreak.

The men of the Lagos State Fire Service and security operatives have commenced work at the scene to bring the situation under control.

Recall that a similar fire incident occurred three weeks after Akere Spare Parts Market on Kirikiri Road, Olodi-Apapa in Ajegunle.

Eeya..I sympathize with those affected.

This may have been caused by electrical faults and improper storage of inflammable products by the traders or an unpatriotic attempt to enforce sit at home threatened by ipob or another sabotage of coordinated arson by the ipob terrorist group like we experienced in Lagos in 2020.

Those traders should be relocated to the outskirts in the future.

Lagos state Govt should make fire insurance tax compulsory or the land reverts back to the LASG or the original family that owns the land in the event the fire is caused by the carelessness of these traders.

Obviously another arsonist attack against the ever resilient people of the South East. We are not deterred from standing for what is right. History always favour the brave.

And all the fire incidents happening in Igbo markets in Lagos before the election shenanigans and the the ones happening in the South Easts were/are as a result of the arsonist attacks?

IPOB don enter Lagos. LASG gov needs to proscribe IPOB.

There is no Igbo dominated market in Lagos. We own all our markets wink Do not bring tribalism into it. No Igbo trader brought land or market from the South East when coming to Yorubaland sir.

All markets in Lagos are under a single authority of the owners of the land.
As one here to make money and escape poverty, just face it; make your money as much as you like for as long as it is legitimate business and you do not hate the Yoruba but do not get involved in the local politics of the Yoruba or hate the Yoruba. If you hate you Yoruba host, all you make in their Yorubaland will be lost and you will return to your village empty handed.

That is a wise advice from someone who loves his Igbo brothers and sisters. Things have changed seriously.

Which evil? You ordered them to sit at home on Tuesday and today their markets are burnt. Is that not the same format you use in the South East? Forcing the hapless traders to sit at home.
