On Sunday, I decided to visit First Bank after ignoring anything that has had to do with banks or ATMs since January.

They had messaged us that we would be able to withdraw our hard-earned money that day. And testimonies abound that they paid ₦50000 the previous day.

Normally, if you're serious about getting cash from any bank, you should have been there at midnight or early in the morning. But lazy me woke up around 8 AM.

I arrived at the bank at past 9, bank was going to open by 10 anyways. When I got there, I picked number 132. I hoped the whole process would be seamless.

There, some people already spoke about how we won't use numbers. That the woman who coordinated the numbering the previous day even entered the bank around 1 PM. I just hoped for the best and stayed alert.

At 10, they started letting people into the banking hall. Some POS operators who had entered the compound through entrances we don't know of just went into the hall.

The guy who coordinated the number was trying to get people orderly through one of the gates. Then security personnel deceived those standing at another gate to go to the main gate. Unknown to them that he wanted to open that gate for someone. Immediately I knew what he wanted to do I stood on alert and rushed toward the gate, gaining entrance into the bank alongside some 10+ people.

I ran into the banking hall and I was number 5 on my queue.

By the time the man coordinating number found his way into the hall (he later found out that coordinating people is a Herculean task and left it), it was filled up. He had to beg and I pleaded with some others that we should allow him to stay before me. Him self don try.

That was how I got ₦50000 without spending one hour sef. A whole 50 buhary tousan naira.

What God cannot do does not exist. Miracle no dey tire Yeshua.

I hope this imagination happens when I go to the bank.
