Wonders Shall Never End: How Can Irrua and Ugbegun Take Everything in a LGA with Four Kingdoms?

...Obaseki Must Hear This - Association of Esan Central People.

The attention of the Governor of Edo State Mr Godwin Obaseki and political party leaders has been drawn to the current political injustice going on in Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo State.

As observed by a pro-good governance organization under the aegis of Association of Esan Central People, all the major and minor elective and appointment positions due to the entire Esan Central Local Government Area in the State, Federal and Local Government levels have been taken by politicians of Irrua and Ugbegun extraction with nothing left for other two Kingdoms of Ewu and Opoji that also constitute the LGA.

The Association of Esan Central People (AECP) with members drawn from the four Kingdoms hereby state in clear terms, that the current arrangements does not augur well with Democratic tenets, justice, equity and peaceful coexistence. It therefore called on the State governor and party leaders to have a rethink by balancing the positioning of appointments and elective positions for justice, equity and the principle of territorial character as enshrined in the Constitution.
