INTEGRITY FORUM OF LABOUR PARTY CALLS FOR THE INTEGRATION OF OBIDIENTS INTO LABOUR PARTY.

Political leadership is a concept central to understanding political processes and outcomes, yet its definition is elusive. Political leadership is also indeed the missing link between the many challenges Nigeria faces on the one hand and the wealth of knowledge.

Historically, the presidential candidate of Labour Party H. E.Peter Obi has changed the political leadership of Nigeria, the Master mind of the 'third Force' political game changer of the most populous black Nation in the world.

On February 25, the electoral process failed to meet Nigerians’ expectations. However, there are many angry and frustrated Nigerians who says their mandate has been stolen.

As controversies continue to trail the just concluded 2023 presidential and National Assembly polls held the 25th of February 2023,

Meanwhile, The Integrity Forum of labour party ( IFOLP) said the elections were badly flawed, just as it lambasted the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for disappointing Nigerians who believed in the process..

The Integrity Forum of labour party ( IFOLP) who stands for sustainable strategies for Labour Party members engagement with leaders on the issues of accountability, transparency and good leadership held their maiden edition meeting online on the 30th of March, 2023.

The Convener and National Coordinator of Integrity Forum of labour party, Adewole Omosebi Egbodofo, who called for the meeting says, there is need for all members of the obidatti movement Nationwide and those in diaspora, to have a platform where they can voice their displeasures about the leadership of the party at all level. As well as those who want to make contributions towards making Labour Party the number one political party in Nigeria can also do so.

Professionals and personalities from all works of life, home and abroad were present and represented in the zoom meeting that held at 8:12 GMT. Among those present at the meeting are: Oloye Adegboyega Adeniji, Gbadega Akingbolun, Dr. Henry Biose, Dr. Anita Nwajei, Princess Orih Eigbohkan, Elder Jones Fagbiye, Dr. Solomon Yusuff Danbaki, Dr. Ntete Edu Bassey-Duke, Pastor Emmanuel Elochukwu, Revd Jerry J. Okoye, Elder Imeh Hanson, Akor Christian Oche, Uzoma Linus, Pst. Olusegun Oyeleye, Joseph Peter Adeoye and Adewole Omosebi Egbodofo.


Furthermore, critical issues such as, strategies to convert the millions of non-party members of the Obidient Movement scattered in hundreds of Support Groups across the country into committed, loyal and staunch Labour Party Members was discussed.

Democratize leadership at all levels by conducting congresses to choose Executive Council Members at Wards, LGAs, Senatorial Districts, States, Zones and Regions where substantive Executive Council Members have not been validly elected so that the process will culminate in a National Convention at which National Executive Council and National Working Committee can be democratically elected was also the center point of discussion.

The Vision of Integrity Forum of labour party is a forum “ that prefers integrity over corruption, meeting with critical stakeholders in Labour Party/Obi-Datti Community with the aim of building strategic partnerships for the overall growth, development and success of the Party.

The following individuals emerged as interim officers of the forum;

Evangelist S.E.A. Omosebi Egbodofo (National Co-ordinator)

Dr. Yusuff Solomon Danbaki (Deputy National Co-ordinator, North)

Dr. Henry Biose (Deputy National Co-ordinator, South)

John David Yako (National Secretary)

Princess Eigbokhan Orih (National Publicity Secretary)

Revd Jerry J. Okoye (Zonal Co-ordinator, North-East)

Dr. Anita Nwajei (Zonal Co-ordinator, South South)

Oloye Adegboyega Adeniji (Zonal Co-ordinator, South-West)

Twenty four individuals participated in the meeting.

Notwithstanding, more members are encouraged to join the Integrity Forum of labour party for the betterment and success of the party.

Indeed I have never seen anything that shaked APC like Obi tsunami, they are crying like the opposition even when they claim to have won ths election, thank God this is happening in my generation
