Today makes it one month exactly that I moved into my personal house.

When I came to Lagos in 2018, I lived in the suburbs of Agege. The state of power supply in that area terrible Sha, and I really suffered. At a point in time it was constant generator as I used to spend about 1200 or 1500 to buy fuel in my gen daily.
Then in 2022 I moved to nice area where we do have power supply for a minimum of 22hrs daily. I really really loved that environment that I wanted to acquire a property there. But their price range was way out of my reach. So I bought a nice cozy 3bedroom bungalow in another neighborhood and decided to equip with 5kva inverter accompanied with 8 solar panels and 4 220amhs battery costing about 1.9m.

So we moved in and have been enjoying 24hrs power supply as we alternate between NEPA(Ikeja Electric) and inverter.
Wherever I go I’m sure that I have light at home. The feeling of certainty that you have power is truly something else(liberating).
