If it proved itself before, it will again. The hammer will not cease jamming the head of a nail between the edges or corners of a wood.

Why do you decide to leap from the ground to the sky when there are people to help you - your predecessors who have taken that path before?

You need a master to gain mastery of a craft. Masters see apprentices as their younger selves to correct the mistake they made in the past. A good master will not only teach but help minimize errors along the way.

Humility and steadfastness is the facilitator: the master will not teach if he smells arrogance; the apprentice will not learn if the master has lost his wits and vivacity.

Learning under the tutelage of a master enables quick progress and achievement of goals. The young ambitious man must know this early. It will save him time and energy.

The man hungry for power must serve the powerful. The dumb can only become wise by following the counsels of the wise.

To get to the top, he needs the sage to counsel him. A hand to lead him. An angel to guard him. And a giant to rest on. This is how progress is made: capitalizing on the initials to unfold hidden potentials.

All great men were once dependent on other great men. Through them, they were able to reproduce their specific arts, crafts, or profession. Predecessors are key.

The younger generation must look behind them to see how things were done in the traditional days, to learn what will help them and where improvements are to be made. Outrightly rejecting the ancient because of modernity creates a shabby future.

However, the challenge is when the young man insists on breaking into a new field - the realm where things are alien to him, with minuscule resources or the absence of masters.

It will take trial and error to unlock what lurks behind. It takes great faith to remain steadfast in such a condition because the outcome isn't cocksure - success or failure awaits him in the end.

As he stands on giants to gain a higher dimension he must never be afraid to challenge the novel even when the giant is absent. Trials come with either success or failure, but the experiences gained become useful knowledge and tool.
