Too Many Lapses Under President Buhari's Watch by EmekaStanley: 11:10am On Apr 03, 2023
I just read a story where the Aviation minister Hadi Sirika claimed they spent #12 billion which is about $26 million to purchase 12 fire trucks for the airport. This is mind boggling to say the least. So each fire truck cost about #1.2 billion naira.

What are the features of the trucks?

Can it fly to meet fire in a high rise building or in this case an aircraft?

Is the truck itself fire resistant?

I had to use google, and the most expensive fire truck is just about #550 million. Is it the type that was purchased?

So even if the trucks are shipped via RORO and cleared at the port, it will still be below #1 billion per truck.

Someone has cashed out big time.

Phewww! These guys are not relenting until they run this nation dry.

President Buhari has already declared countless times that he was tired of the job, and can't wait to go home. Well he wasn't prepared in the first place. When someone keeps saying this, it means he has lost every interest and wouldn't bother himself with some things.

Come to think of it, if you hire someone in your company and few years down the line, he keeps saying to your hearing that he is tired of the job and can't wait to leave your organization, what would you do?

Whatever you think is the answer should have been the best way to respond to the president, for national interest.

Too many lapses under his watch.
