Job Role: Corporate Communications Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Requirements:
BSc. in Public Relations, Communications or related course from a reputable university.
Masters’ degree is an added advantage

Experience Level: 15 years
Preferred Industry Experience: Financial services (Banking), FMCG, strong corporate communications experience in Media and other industries may be considered.

Remuneration: N1,000,000 (Net salary), other benefits are available.

Job Summary
• Develop a strategic and integrated communication function for the organization with supporting policies and frameworks.
• Develop and manage an internal communication program to build workforce unity, promote information sharing and facilitate the achievement of the company’s strategic goals and priorities.
• Manage and develop content on the company’s website in a compelling, visual, easy-to-navigate format and coordinate the dissemination of web content updates across all departments.
• Utilize social media platforms (including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter) in ensuring that the company maintains a strong social media presence and align all social media messaging with company activities throughout the year.
• Deliver regular communication to all staff through a range of channels (e.g. newsletters, e-bulletins, intranet, etc.) thereby ensuring ease of access to information and clarity of messages.
• Serve as the company’s spokesperson to the media and the general public by developing and distributing materials that explain or convey the company's policies or position on issues.
• Manage the development and integrity of the company’s brand and ensure that all communication materials and tools contribute to the departmental objectives and present the organization as an integrated professional body.
• Define and develop strategies that underpin the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) objectives and raise awareness of the company’s commitment to CSR.
• Implement and coordinate a range of initiatives designed to have a positive impact on the environment and local communities, and constantly generate publicity around the company’s altruistic endeavours.
• Foster and maintain strong professional working relationships with key stakeholders to understand and meet their communication requirements and manage their expectations.
• Provide strategic and operational advice to the Chief Executive Officer and other executives within the organization on internal and external strategic communication issues.
• Recommend strategies to manage foreseeable corporate identity issues, and identify appropriate responses and communication channels.
