Nigeria could av learnt the ropes about development or better still watch keenly how its done, b4 dragging steering wheel with people wey know road, and uve finally gotten hold of d wheel and don't.av d slightest clue of going about even starting d vehicle, US pulled away from British during d revolution but is after they've finished developing US already, that's why even the colonizers found it hard to leave US cos of the huge investments they have made there, so rather than run, they (Europeans) settled there and finish what they started

these looters only learned from these colonial demons... what do you expect? at least the black looter is pretending to help its community while these colonial looters would openly tell you that your natural ressources is meant for their (white) citizen back in their (white) lands.
these colonial slavers were certainly NOT better than these African looters!

Both are evil, but ur looters should av known better, the British were going to leave quite alright, what am saying is that Nigeria should have developed enough to the stage it can now take over confidently, Nigerians didn't av a clue what to do with nigeria when they got independence, worse off petroleum was discovered then, rather than use it to rapidly develop they started looting, was the oil a curse or a blessing?

sadly, i dont blame these evil looters for the current state of Nigeria, i blame the NIGERIAN POPULATION for A) voting these looters in power or B) standing by while these bastards (whether black or white) defraud Nigeria of its natural ressources for their own selfish agenda.
- why cant Nigerians go to the streets and protest like they did during Endsars? is Endsars more important that the future/existence of Nigeria?
- why cant Nigerians go to the streets and protest like they did during South African ressentment (after South Africans were killing Nigerians in SA)??
- why cant Nigerians go to the streets and protest like they did when some yeye coza pastor was accused of rape?

the oil was only a curse because Nigerians were never ready to handle it.

Which type protest? Protest doesn't produce good leaders.

People were given a chance to elect good leader in the just concluded elections. But a man involved in drug trafficking was given a certificate of return.

Nigerians should channel their energy into electing good leaders.

dont blame the "supposed" criminals that want to get elected...blame your fellow Nigerians citizen voting for these "supposed" criminals!

Nigerians should channel their energy into electing good leaders.

listen, let us not fool ourselves by the political puppets out there who will be quick to promise the moon and as soon as elected will simply loot the country's coffers.

so you really believe that since the 1960s, no good leader was available to lead Nigeria?!? Nigerian politics is a mafia, and unless you are part of one of these mafias, there is NO WAY you will be elected in Nigeria. if you are elected through one of these mafias, then you have to do what the mafia tells you to do (aka loot as much as you can and thereafter share the loot with your mafia associates)

Why are u blaming Nigerians, what about u, Major life altering changes in a country was started by individuals, the Arab spring, the orange revolution, Nelson mandela Fighting Apartheid system, rosa parks fighting White domination in the US then, it takes a spark to ignite the fire of protest, major clear throat demands should be layed down on the grounds of the protest, Nigerians must read the "Riot act" to their.gov.ng, nigeria must take back the government from Fifth columnists and third wheels in d carriage occupations, by Nigerians backed by foreign govts to steal wealth and back trade deals that's parasitic to d country, it should start with you, Mr brownJay, uve travelled the world ๐ŸŒŽ, u should know better

Why is it then that tinubu when he makes such claims publicly, people tend to remain mute ๐Ÿ”‡, silence can as well mean a go ahead, inaction is indeed action and people have failed to call out tinubu to that thunderous lies of having built Lagos, is as if, we have accepted it as truth, like the saying goes "Say a lie countless times and it becomes the truth"

Lagos has always been a hub.
British colonisation wasn't the first time Europeans set foot in Nigeria. The Portuguese did and they traded.

Any coastal town/country is more developed and richer. Due to the ease of trade and communication

Look till this day, landlocked countries in Africa are the poorest and undeveloped.
