A financial service provider in the micro-banking sector is looking to recruit a[b] Deposit Mobilization Officer[/b]. This candidate is in charge of acquiring customers who want to deposit money into a fixed bank account with a microfinance bank. He or She must have had prior work experience in the field and has an existing relationship with customers with funds available for deposits.



Job Type: Deposit Mobilization Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos.

Working hours: 8 am - 5 pm

Salary:

OND -N65,000

HND - N85,000

Job Responsibilities:

To support the business' deposit mobilisation division.

Source for high-end customers and persuade them to deposit money into a bank.

Ensure the opening forms for fixed deposit accounts are adequately completed and registered.

Inform the client of the status of their deposit.

Creating and implementing a business plan will help the organisation attract a lot of fresh deposits from targeted markets with known volumes.

Fostering and maintaining connections with corporate clients and individual depositors.

Establish contact with both new and existing clients.

Create and enhance new methods for rewarding depositors with interest on regular and fixed deposits.

Ensure that due diligence is always applied to meet the regulator's standards and defend the interests of the organisation and the depositors by coordinating with the management team.

Job Requirements:

OND, NCE, HND in Finance & Marketing and any other related course

1 - 3 years minimum experience in a similar role.

Previous work experience with Renmoney or Fairmoney is an advantage.

Excellent skills in interpersonal interactions and grooming.

Strong communication and presenting skills.

A confident personality with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
