According to the scriptures there is none among the servants of God that celebrated his birth we only read about Pharaoh of Egypt and Herod Antipas both are pagans! Genesis 20:40 and Matthew 14:6

Solomon said the day of death is more important than the day of birth {Ecclesiastes 7:1} prophet Jeremiah cursed the day he was born {Jeremiah 20:14} so when Jesus became popular among the Jews he never abandoned the heritage God's prophets laid down rather he continued with the tradition {Matthew 5:17} that's why many Jews concluded that he must be Jeremiah who detests the day of birth! Matthew 16:13-14

As Christians the one and only role model we should copy is Jesus Christ, his parents never celebrated his birthday, he never did neither did his disciples marked it after him but they kept doing something in remembrance of Jesus: the day of his death which he COMMANDED them to keep doing! Luke 22:19

Just last week his (true) disciples all over the earth marked his remembrance on the 4th of April.

So if someone asks me which is more important between the date of birth and date of death i would have chosen the one that i myself would love to be there as the celebrant but because i'm dead to the flesh but living in the spirit for my Master, Lord and King Christ Jesus i will say it's the date of death that's most important as my Lord has said both in thought word and action.

God bless you and may you have PEACE! smiley

What/ who is God if I may ask,

Before we can start asking if it/he/she can impregnate a woman?

Why does God need a son for?

God already provided all that in the old testament...

Is April 4 in the Bible, why remembering his death on this day?

Good, including his birth too was provided in the old testament but without his birth can there be salvation?

But his birth comes first isn't it? Can't we give it to what comes first?

But he died as God, he himself said I and my father are one

The Jews don't follow the Roman calendar that the whole world is using, their calendar differs.

It's on the 14th of Nisan according to the Jewish calendar which is the same date Moses told the Israelites to kill the Passover lamb that Jesus offered himself, going by that calendar the date fell on April 4th of Roman calendar! smiley

He didn't die as God for it is impossible for God to die, He died as a man without blemish, a son of man and son of God ,a perfect sacrifice for humanity.

He referred to Himself as God for He is God in divine nature, the fact that He was in flesh couldn't nulify His identity.

That is why He is referred to as the Son of man, a God-man the perfect link between God and man.

As a Jehovah witnesses, why against Dec, 25 since you believe in April 4?

God bless you again and again and again for this thought provoking question! smiley

According to the Bible Jesus wasn't born on the date that fell on Dec 25, God's servants never marked their birthdays, some of them spoke against birthdays, Jesus himself never marked his birthday, his parents never did when he was a child, his disciples never did after he left them and he COMMANDED them to mark the date of his death (not his birth)

So going by the command of Jesus himself April 4 2023 is worth commemorating this year than any other date because that's the date he commanded us to remember going by the Jewish calendar Nisan 14. Next year it may fall on another date but we must stick to the date as commanded by Jesus Christ! John 15:14 smiley

Psalm 16 is a mictham of David...

How did you figure it was about jesus?

Psalms are songs sung during services....they are not prophesies...

It would be wrong to say He died as God , infact it is blasphemy to say He died as God because God can never die.

He took on the weakness of man to die as man in order to win the victory over death as man.

Foreshadow the ultimate sacrifice Jesus will perform with his own life!
The Israelites are to kill the lamb and use its blood to rub their doorpost so that the angel of death may spare them.
The same will happen when God's Kingdom comes because all those who don't have the seal of Jesus' blood will be slaughtered globally! smiley

As they arrived at April 4 for the remembrance of his dead is the same way they got Dec 25 for his birth with the help of Jewish calendar that is the 14th of Nisan (the day of crucifixion according to John) which is equivalent to March 25 in Roman solar calendar and from March 25 to December 25 is Nine months
