Let Us Remain Hopeful

On the occasion of Easter, my family and I join millions of other well-wishers to wish the Christian faithful in Kaduna State and Nigeria, a memorable Easter celebration.

Recognizing how Easter speaks of rebirth, renewal of hope, and victory over death and all forms of negativity, I urge my Christian brothers and sisters to celebrate while remaining hopeful that the future holds the best for us as a people.

While we currently may not have the best of times as a people, our adaptive resilience, which has kept us so far, would keep aiding us to continue hoping for the best of our tomorrow. And as we celebrate, let us keep spreading love and hope to all.

Since Easter is about the crucifixion, resurrection, love, peace, and sacrifices, I urge everyone to continue to extend hands of help to the vulnerable around us.

Let us also continue to pray for our state and country for more unity, security, peace, and leaders that would bring out the best in us and our state. May this Easter renew our faith.

Once again, I am wishing you a happy Easter full of hope and smiles.
