If our beloved Prof Wole Soyinka could not stomach Obasanjo's "half-truths, outright lies and coy adumberations ... in order to ingratiate himself to his superiors in Lagos", how is that different from what he (Soyinka) is doing today with Tinubu?

What really happened to Prof Wole Soyinka, a man who invested his whole life into the fight for truth and justice?

I ask this question with a heavy heart, because I (and most of EDUCATED Nigerians) feel real pain that our role model appears to have sold out.

I strongly doubt that this has anything to do with tribalism. An Igbo proverb says that a person cannot learn how to use left hand in old age.
