Good day to the good people of nairaland. Pls their was an error in my date of birth on my international passport, it just a year different. Please I will like someone to tell me the procedure to take to get it done, and how long will it take. Pls. Note : I have the correct date of birth on my NIN. |

Ninoh22: Go to immigrations in ur location...they will ask for ur waec and other proofs of ur age...link u up with abuja office cos that the only place it can be changed ..... its not cheap... . its not cheap at all..... 1 Like |

advanceDNA: A friend of mine recently change his DOB from 1983 to 1986 with 160k. An Immigration officer will commence the process for you before you will travel to Abuja to complete it. |

Ninoh22: It depends on whos helping you... passport generally takes long now...but if u tip the right person...u can get ur passport one ot two weeks after capture |

Go to Immigration Headquarters Suka, Abuja That is the only place errors are fixed. Any another place the person or office will still take it there, only headquarter does changes. Other places will even charge you more and spend more time. I did for 120k last year December. As for duration. Settle ur mind for within two months. Except you re willing to pay extra for speed. |
