Exactly 14 years ago, on 11 04 2009, our Mummy in the Lord, Mummy Abiodun Kumuyi went home to be with the Lord after serving Him here on earth with every strength, courage and ability she had. She stood side by side to work hard and build with our father in the Lord.

It was the last day of the Easter Retreat of that year at DLICC. I still remember our father leading us to sing the GHS THERE'S A NEW NAME IN GLORY. We sang it over and over before we had the message.

It was when we closed and were going home that we heard that our Mother had gone to be with the Lord! We were shocked! We cried too. And a befitting burial was put together for her and our Father in the Lord preached on that day too!

Mummy, you came, you saw and conquered. Your Lord took you when He desired and we are happy you are at home with Him. We will meet again on the resurrection morning.

Mummy Abiodun Kumuyi spear-headed the establishment of this magazine which was officially launched in October of 1992. She was the editor until her demise. It was a monthly magazine which was used as a tool in teaching women on what and what they need to know in order to be successful wives and mothers to their various husbands and children respectively. It was modelled as a magazine to teach the exemplary life of excellence and chastity for Christian women.

Sleep on. Rest on our Mummy. Your legacies live on, ably upheld by our Mummy Esther Kumuyi. We will meet again.
