. Identity impersonation is rampant in UK. If Obi was found wanting in anyway, two things would have happened;

1, they wouldn't have allowed him into the UK as they did same day he was interrogated. He would have been detained and thereafter moved to the police facility. That they didn't do that shows that nothing was found on him.

2, If they have found him wanting in anyway, they wouldn't have allowed him to return back to Nigeria freely. They would have impounded his passport pending investigation.

Now, hear what would have happened as I can see you don't know much about the UK Home office and their operations; it is possible someone has cloned Peter Obi's identity and used that to open accounts in the UK banks, obtaining credits facilities and engaging in different kind of financial fraud, mostly credit fraud. You don't need anyone's finger print to clone their Identity, you just need the person's personal details; like Full name, date of birth, passport details and address. This happens everyday in the UK, it has even happened to my friend's wife, she got to know only when she went to obtain mortgage facility, and was told she had CCJ in her credit file, further checks with the credit reference agencies showed that a total credit of 150k pounds was taken out in her name from various financial institutions and vendors. As I said, this happens everyday, but only become an issue because of the person being impersonated.

BTW, I don't even think this has to do with APC or any political intimidation, it could be a pure case of impersonation for the purpose of financial fraud. Just two weeks ago, I got a phone call on WhatsApp and someone was trying to use Peter Obi's name to defraud me, but I found out immediately and blocked the person.

Now, let me give you one life saving financial advice as a new person in UK, please make sure you register yourself and your wife with atleast one credit reference agency and recieve a monthly credit and searches report every month, otherwise, you too can be a victim of impersonation.
