Running through time magazines annual selection of influential people , you see a smorgasbord of the good thebbad and the ugly.

Apparently influence doesn't have to be positive to be recognised by time.

Consider for a moment that notorious killer and boko haram leader Abubakar shekau was chosen in 2015 to be on their list.....alongside greats like chimamanda adichie , oby ezekwesili etc.

You only need to read the attached articles to heave a sigh of relief. Adichie was described as a rare novelist and shekau , nigerias deadliest killer and scourge of Africa.

Let's face tinubu, how was he described? What inspiration does anyone draw from the picture painted of him? Well, here is an excerpt...

..."But Tinubu’s win with the ruling All Progressives Congress Party came in a fraught election"....

"Marred by allegations of intimidation and vote rigging, the outcome of the ballot is being challenged in court,” the Magazine said."

So tinubu like shekau makes the cut not for popularity but for notoriety.

This and the massive twitter response it has generated has further internationalised the controversies inherent in a tinubu persona, who is currently being heavily researched by netizens for his Chicago drug money forfeiture case.


This is just to put it in perspective, time 100 for tinubu is akin to time 100 for shekau.

If tinubu paid to get this endorsement, he is certainly not getting value for money. This is only opening him up for more scrutiny by the world...kai obidients are strong oo

The only difference between Tinubu and shekau is that, while shekau stays in sambisa wielding all manner of guns, Tinubu stays in bourdilion commanding MC oulumoh and his terror gang to unleash violence and terror on Yoruba people and the likes

Infact some people are already planning to commit sort of mass suicide as a form of protest on the 29 of May if that druggie and terrorist are sworn in.
