FUEL SUBSIDY REMOVAL WILL CAUSE MORE INFLATION AND PLUNGE NIGERIANS INTO FURTHER HARDSHIP: POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA AND LAWYERS FOR CHANGE INITIATIVES WARNS NNPC, FGN.

The removal of fuel subsidy will not only drive up the price of premium motor spirit, resulting to higher transportation fares, increased inflation rate, reduced buying power and a surge in Poverty. Hardship will be inevitably intensify due to this, especially given the current level of inflation.

Some policies of the
government might seems to have some sort of long term economic advantages on paper, but the damages it can cause the people as a result of wrong timing, will overrides every good it is intended on the people, Nigerians are yet to fully recover from effect of the economic hardships occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic, subjecting us to another form of suffering in the name of subsidy removal will be met with stiff resistance from the Nigerian masses as we are already on the edge.

We hereby on the premise above, call on the Federal Government of Nigeria and big players in the oil sector especially the NNPC to shelve every plans in their locker to remove fuel subsidy, the timing is not only wrong but the policy is highly anti people at this material time.

We hope all hope our voices will be be heard, as any attempt to remove the Subsidy will be met with Stiff resistance from this Group and its associate round Nigeria.

God bless Nigeria

There are something that if Tinubu does it . It has destroy everything he might want to do.

One of them is subsidy if Tinubu remove subsidy I am tell you he has nothing to offer Nigerian but to put us in another years of suffering.

So we are watching let him prove to us if he is for good or bad.

No matter of money they are paying on subsidizing fuel it is benefits to all Nigerians and of they removed it and start given us money or whatever they can used the money for all of us can't be benefited from it.

Our government must continue to subsidizing the fuel untill they are able to bring back to life our refineries .

Someome said the products they were getting from crude oil are in thousand but when we take it to other countries to refine how many products are they given back to us. If we can be refined our crude oil by ourselves it will be better.

Allowing a single man to own refinery is act of corruption. It means our crude oil had been in the hand of some people to own and control. Tinubu must not allowed that.
