Dr. Saraki drafted over 50 Economic Reform Bills while he was president of the Senate that helped to strengthen Nigeria’s economy & reduce poverty. With the insecurity in the NE region the 8th assembly passed the North East Development Commission bill to carter for victims of insurgency. The Not too Young to Run Bill which was signed to increase the youth's participation in electrol process was passed by the 8th assembly. Prohibition of Sexual Harassment in Tertiary Education Institution Bill, The Whistleblower Protection Bill, The Mutual assistance in criminal matters act & lots of other bills were passed to ensure Nigeria was moving forward progressively.
