■ What happened to God knowing your heart and what you think? Many Christians preach different thing and this is why Christianity is misleading. Some say that, God already answers your prayer before you even ask. Some say, you must ask before he will act on your needs.. Now you're coming up with a different thing. Are we ever going to understand this religion? Because everyone seems to be hearing from God yet we get different prophecies from them and we're still not a good people or a better nation!

Scripture states that :

■ God does not answer any of the prayers of the unrighteous; the prayers of the unrighteous are an abomination to God because their requests are tainted by their sins and rendered unholy and unacceptable to God. This means not even the pleas of a sinner for forgiveness of sins are answered by God
■ God answers all of the prayers of the righteous; He delights in granting the righteous the desires of their hearts. God basically answers every single prayer of a righteous man. So long as an individual is righteous, it does not matter whether he prays according to an idea of a will or not, God will grant him whatever it is he asked for.

When you consider these declarations made by God through His prophets, one big take away is this: if it seems God answers none or only some of your prayers, the truth is instead that you are unrighteous and even the answers you assumed came from God didn't infact come from Him answering your prayers.

God is our father, right? This answers a lot of questions!

I've was a child of a very good father (a great father by many standards), and now a parent. These give me some deep insights.

Sometimes, without asking, a father just gives his child good things, simply out of love.
Sometimes, the child asks and the father gives because he considers the request reasonable at that time and situation.
Sometimes, the child asks, the father doesn't give due to some good reasons, but on the child's persistent asking, the father decides to give something else that is better in that situation and time, as a show of good faith.
Sometimes, the child asks, but the father delays giving until a better time (due to other situations or case of child's disobedience).
Sometimes, child asks, father does not give, because he is planning something much bigger and better a bit later, when that's ready he gives.
Sometimes the (matured or wise) child asks, but father has a different opinion, father and child reason together, and the child is able to convince father why granting that request is of good benefit. So father gives child.
Sometimes the child asks, but father does not grant the request because what is being asked is of no good benefit, or even harmful.

We often forget the dynamics of parent-child relationship as children of God, whereas this is what He wants when He made us is children - to behave as children and not servants!
Think on the above, it will change your perception of God as concerning your payer life. Let His Spirit commune with you so you know which situation you are at any time.
