[quote author=Godfirst2014 post=122557548]That mudu contains 16 tin milk cups , approximately two mudus of that of South. With the current price here in the south, that would be around 2k[ that's not true mudu is about 8 to 9 tins of milk cup depending on the size of the mudu. The most common size is that of 8 tins of milk cup,it's very hard to come across that of 9 tins of milk cup. Ike is mostly use in Southwest and it's between 91/2 to 10 tins of milk cup]

That was probably N300 per measure under Oga Jona.
Though clueless, he conceded and didn't resort to shameless rigging. He was never in support of "bandits" because we saw casualty pictures of terrorists.

I hope you know this is by far the less violent elections in Nigeria history?
The report, exclusively obtained by Daily Trust, indicates that the highest number of lives lost during elections was in 2011, in which 800 people were killed. This was closely followed by the 2007 elections, which claimed 300 lives while those of 2019 and 2015 led to the killing of 145 and 100 people respectively. However, in 2023, only 39 lives were lost across Nigeria. The dead in the presidential and governorship elections held on February 25 and March 18, 2023 include policemen, politicians, hired thugs, members of the electorate and even a yet to be identified ad hoc staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission who was reportedly struck by a stray bullet.

1 Killed In Nasarawa, 6 Die In Akwa Ibom Election Violence, 6 Persons Killed For Allegedly Snatching Ballot Boxes In Benue, 2 killed In Edo, 1 Dead In Sokoto, 2 Policemen Killed, In Taraba, 10 People Killed in Osun, Lagos had 1 too.

My advice to ALL Nairalander: STOCK UP

We are looking at $0.8 x 460 = 380 or
$0.8 x 750 =600.

Depending on how USD is allocated to OIal Marketers at 460 is another subsidies of forex prone to another round of abuse.

At 750 PMS = 600 per litre
-Hyper-inflation,
-Social unrest;
-Increase Multiple-demensional poverty;
-Demand destruction,
-Divestment
Credit Alhaji

In addition to the removal of subsidy, be prepared for the unexpected.
You are very correct but I pray we scale through.

So una no fit buy one cup of rice, that small tin cup, only modu? 😧
What if Dem no fit afford the modu?

Some part of southern Nigeria call it congo of rice, I think the Yorubas. For some part of Southern Nigeria, one tin small cup is 200 naira, while what you call modu will be about 2,000 naira, which is 200 naira × approximately 10 cups(which makes one modu) or 1 modu no be 9½/10 cups of rice?
There is different between mudu and congo.
There are 8 tin small cup in 1 mudu while there are 9½/10 tin small cup in 1 congo.

Electoral violence averted due to trust people were forced to put in the judiciary and police has been duly suppressed by the ruling party. That's makes it worse than all previous elections combined.

With cup of Garri selling at N50, I don't think many can afford protest. You also have to consider the fact that the violence prone regions were already in power and needed the access to the right places to subvert the will of the people.

2023 election was the worse ever .
