We also have Muslim Leaders in every districts, villages, towns and cities also have their committees who sights the crescent moon.

Chief Imam of every state also announces the sight of crescent moon for their respective States. So every villages. So wether mass media is available or not isn't an issue

Once crescent Moon is reported to have been sighted in Nnewi from trusted source, it'll be reported to Muslim leaders for official broadcast.
Every other Muslim in Nigeria will break their fast because crescent Moon is ONE all around the world, Visibility is just different everywhere.

It's going to be naturally end upon sighting Shawwal crescent.

Hence, it's poised to end tomorrow being 29th Ramadan 1444AH, equivalent of 20th April, 2023 if the crescent is sighted shortly after Solatul Maghreb.

Otherwise, the counting of Ramadan will be 30 full month and Shawwal 1444AH shall begin on 21 April, 2023.

May Allah enable us to see the end of this blessed month (Ramadan) and witness more of it ahead Aameen.

Like the OP said, every community is expected to loot our for the moon on the 29th, once the crescent has been sighted, it's communicated to religious leaders and traditional rulers over the whole country.

To this day in some places in the north, the Emirs announce sighting of the moon across town through either of town crying, announcing in mosques and gatherings or firing of guns at night.

It's absolutely impossible for every country to sight the moon especially in this part of the world. Other countries rely on middle east who are a geographical advantage to sight the moon.

sorry i want to make a correction here. locations in the western hemisphere have advantage over the middle east/ eastern hemisphere by the simple logic of geographical location.
any first sighting of moon on the first day must be sighted before maghrib that's before 7pm in the evening. any sighting of the moon on the first day after 7pm is impossible.
most times by the time the moon will be visible on the first day it will be night already to the eastern/middle eastern countries. but those in the western part will see it on that day.
eg. if the moon is supposed to be visible at 6pm GMT time. that means 11pm Saudi Arabia time, or 7pm Nigeria time. the moon will be visible but already Saudi Arabia is night time so it is impossible to sight it there, Nigeria is 7 pm so there is a chance of its sighting on that day as it is not nighttime here at 7pm. the moon is one all over the world, and on the first day the moon will only be visible for 5mins

na simple task I give u wey u dey shalaye,eat for 4am,sleep back and wake say 9 to go work,then continue the fast till 7 in the evening,no water too oo then do it for just three days and tell me how it feels
