The elections looks transparent to you but the report on INEC table says the opposite. BVAS is a good initiative that was by passed in many PU. Under age voting happened and INEC & police encouraged it.

Even card readers was massively bypassed in so many places in 2015 but the bvas performed better compared to card reader.underage voting reduced compared to similar years.no election can ever be 100% fair,I dont know what your problem is.the police is corrupt and are not answerable to inec and the police are never punished so how is that the fault of inec? A lot of inec adhoc staffs are even corrupt.Mahmoud yakubu did absolutely wonderful but the field officers,some recs,security agencies and politicians tried to sabotage the process but it was more difficult than ever.

The monster of over voting was finally tamed and even iRev ( in spite of how its objective was misunderstood) has made voting more transparent and engaging. Apart from 1993, no other election has reflected voter intention as this one.

Is it 2007, 2011 that we want to talk about. Is it 2015 that a political parties office was ransacked that we want to hold up.

The only great thing about 2015 was GEJ congratulatory call. We had the opportunity for a repeat of this but instead parties headed to court on spurious grounds.

INEC do not have the power to sack a REC.

Only the President on recommendation of two-thirds of the Senate, but the new Electoral Act technically worded it that the REC is answerable to the Commission.

INEC posts the RECs, so they can simply discipline, suspend, let him step aside, post him to another State or whatever but cannot sack him.
