How to Stand after Failure - why does Church only teach success by OgaMadam(f): 12:22pm On Sep 22, 2011
Why is it that in Chrisitianity culture people are never taught how to fail.

Isnt it the same bible that says "a righteous man may fall seven times"

and yet the Lord will pick him up.

Why is it that people have to commit suicide, or kill others, or become depressed when
they make mistakes, fail at marriages etc.

This is a message right here but did you know that learning to walk with God means He
walks you through you hard times as well.

Today, dont let any one discourage or disqualify you just because:

Your business went bankrupt

Hurt someone badly

Stand up, dust yourself and move on nicely - for He will never fail you.

Peaceout

Madam

fake people lack virtues.they therefore cannot teach their people to persevere in the face of adversity and hardship.they do not know the meaning of patience and keeping faith while facing affliction.they believe that success especially financial materials is reward for the fake beliefs they have about Prophet Jesus son of Mary (may peace and blessings of Almighty Allah be upon them both).this is even the way the fake apostle,Paul, sold out his preaching to attract customers.its business as usual.you cant find a businessman who knows and understands only the material to tell people his product is bad.they have made their faith as such.they believe if they are poor it is "bondage".mumu people wey nor dey fear God!

if you also dig deep, all the counterfeit miracles have their roots in fake prophecies:

Mark 16:16-20
16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."

People go to church to purchase delusions , not realities. The sellers provide what their customers ask for. The merchants sell an illusion of gratification to our deepest primordial desires, fears and prejudices. Failure is reality. It is not marketable.

It is sad to know that it didnt escape normal business structures

The other day i was reading that Rupert Murdoch (British Media Mogul) actually owns Zondervan publishing (one of the biggest bible publishing houses)

Indirectly he is doing a work for God, but lots of questions just come into my mind

Why do you want to be taught how to fail? Would you rather prefer to be taught how to fail or how to succeed?
Or what you really meant to say is that churches do not teach members of their congregation how to handle failures once they occur.

@op
Wonderful message but the title seem not very appropriate . It's not how to fall but how to "stand"

Jesus taught us how to stand in times of failure!
Life as we all know is not easy. It is a daily battle,
Trials like sickness and failure can crush our spirits or physic,
false values ad easy promises can as well entice us and even destroy our souls.
And so we ask God to keep us from failing when we are tested, he will help us to know the right thing to do, to deliver us from the evil which awaits. That is why we have to say our daily prayer as Jesus taught us.

The Lord's Prayer Words (matt 6: 9-13)

Our Father, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom,
The power, and the glory,
For ever and ever.
Amen.

It depends of the kind of church we attend and teachings we listen to.

overall, we are only human and are bound to failure but with his grace and mercy, he is mighty to save. That is my believe and he has never failed me, even through trials and tribulations. It is well.
