10th Nass Speakership: Group Pray For Wase.

The Chief Imam of Jos, Sheikh Lawal Adam, led special supplications seeking God’s intervention towards actualising the House of Representatives speakership aspiration of Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon Ahmed Idris Wase CON.

The prayer sessions, held at the instance of Joint Forum, in the main bowl of the Jos Central mosque, featured the reading of the Holy Qur’an.

The Chief Imam also prayed for smooth and peaceful transition at all levels of Governance in the Country.

The convener of the prayer, who is also the Chairman Joint Forum, Alhaji Bashir Jibril, said they deemed it wise to support Hon.Wase using prayer, for the fact that he had been putting good representations of the people.

“We gathered, read the Quran, and also prayed that Allah will make one of our sons, Hon. Idris Wase, the Speaker of the House of Representatives,” he said.

Alhaji Bashir, said Hon. Wase remains the best, most experienced, fifth term member of the House of representatives, reasons why they held the prayer for his success.

“We prayed and asked for Allah’s intervention, so that Hon. Ahmad Idris Wase, become the new Speaker,” he said.

Alhaji Bashi said all other aspirants are competent, but Hon. Wase stand better chance of being the Speaker, he urged the entire members yo support him.

Meanwhile, the national coordinator, Exemplary Leadership, Hon. Hassan Isa Maimadara, expressed the goodwill of the group during the prayer session.

He said: “The Exemplary Leadership, appreciates the convener, we equally thank the Chief Imam of Jos, and all Qur’anic reciters as well as all that turned out during this pray.
