Eid-fitri: Timi of Ede felicitates Muslims, calls for concerted efforts against insecurity

The Timi of Ede land, HRM OBA DR. MUNIRUDEEN ADESOLA LAWAL, LAMINISA THE 1ST, has felicitated with all Ede sons and daughters around the world on the completion of this year's Ramadan fasting.

This was contained in statement signed by his media aide, Dapo Akinyele, the copy which was made available to newsmen in Ede on Thursday.

The revered traditional ruler said the period of fasting had afforded Muslim Ummah around the world to concentrate on total supplications and fervent prayers to Almighty Allah.

Oba Laminisa, also called for concerted efforts towards ending the spate of insurgency and other criminal tendencies, saying Nigeria needs peaceful co-existence to strengthen her economy.

The statement read in part:" I heartily felicitate all my sons and daughters around the world on this occasion of the end of this year's Ramadan fasting.

"Obviously, these past days of fasting had been a great opportunities for us to double our efforts towards rededication and total submission to the will of Allah.

"May Almighty Allah accept our prayers as an act of ibadah. Eid-Mubarak!
