Using a diplomatic passport means that the holder is traveling on STRICTLY on official government assignment and the DATA PAGE of a diplomatic passport carries the original nationality of the diplomat. During my secondary school days we had guy from Lebanon whose dad was a diplomat, they were posted to Nigeria and on his passport it cleared stated that his nationality is Lebanese. The immidiate family of a diplomat is also entitled to a diplomatic passport so i saw it with my own eyes. They were from Lebanon on official assignment to Nigeria.
It is only spies and internation criminals that carry diplomatic passports with different nationalities.
