These days when I set and observe the mood generally one can clearly sense that generally Nigeria is divided .

Yes we have all heard the media politicians and citizens pander the words Nigeria is more divided than ever before" but never have these words rang so true as they do today.
Coupled with the general mood of gloominess and anger coupled with a Naira currency that is seriously competing with toilet paper at how worthless it could be the citizens have very little to smile about these days.

And to make matters worse the youths are hating each other more and more along tribal lines and boy does Tinubu our amiable president select have his work cut out for him.

All things aside Asiwaju is a pretty likeable guy and one can't deny his intelligence. Be it how he was able to trick his way I to the Tinubu family as conspiracy theorists like to claim or how he was able to turn around the Lagos of old despite not getting federal allocation he indeed did set Lagos on the road map to being the most monopolistic society and modern development we have today in Nigeria.. to deny this would be akin to denying that most members of thos forum are uneducated.

Anyways here we are alas Nofückstogive , we are at a point where the country is split into 2 ggroups . On one hand we have the Obidients who adore Peter Obi, some for his mannerisms or his ethics , while some are also sympathetic to the fact that it is the turn of the Igbo ethnic group to produce a president since they have never done so since Nigeria's return to independence., The Obidients are made up of all tribes , Then you have the Tinubu supporters who are laccused of being largely funded groups of for hire politicial loyalists then the room Yoruba agitators . Then we have the nuetrals who are mostly made up of Nkrtherms and smaller splinter groups which where once in support of the ruling party but feel totally disenfranchised with the situation in the country . Irrespective of whichever group you fall into we can all agree that the general feeling of the citizens is that the presidential election was not free and fair. Whether this is true or not rests with the courts to decide.

Irrespective come next month Asiwaju would be sworn Irrespective of how anyone us feels about it , so where do we go from here as a nation?

I sincerely do not envy this man, he is inheriting a bankrupt nation whose global image going fieward would be one marred into the drug cartel fiasco raised by Obidients. Truly Tinubu is in a situation where irrespective of whatever he does that shadow will hangover him and that is alot to deal with for anyone.

Also he is going to take charge of a nation so divided he might as well be overseeing a cult war peace talk, because you have the Obidients who irrespective of the case being in court will refuse to accept Asiwaju as the president , and will likely spend the coming months organising protests and social media bombardments of the government, very similar to what APzc did to GEJ using redmedia back then.

Now Tinubu would find it difficult to stop the protests because he still has the shadow of end stars massacre hanging over his head. Any deployment of forces to stop protests would be tagged endsars massacre 2.0. it is truly not going to be easy for Asiwaju because at every turn he is going to risk alienating the very youth he needs to drive this country on the path to recovery and right now in Nigeria the only person who controls the youth is Peter Obi. Would obi be benevolent enough to accept the olive branch extended by Asiwaju? That is left to be seen and frankly I think he should, because that is the only way forward.

I can hear some of you thinking " Wetin this one dey talk Asiwaju no need them na, na Yoruba youth alone he needs"

Oh you sweet summer child you, how naive you are. grin even ASIWAJU doesn't want to be seen as pro Yoruba , it will never serve him well so he would be looking for every opportunity to unite and move ahead

Will the courts rule in Peter Obi's favour ? I doubt it , frankly I am tired and just want the Naira to rise against the dollar , I want better minimum wages , I want ports opened so one can receive shops in all port in the Niger Delta , I want all states to have equal opportunity and growth , I want jobs provided and Franky 5hese things are what every citizen wants towould we have loved to have Peter Obi in Aso Rico as president? Hell yes but the reality is Nigeria happened and slowly we may need to start thinking of what next.
I am not saying withdraw the case ,no . Do I think he will win the case ? No. Why ? Because Tinubu has probably bought off the entire surpeeme court judges and judiciary.
One thing is clear to drive Nigeria forward he needs the youth and who controls the youth ? Peter Obi! So maybe both sides need to seat down and work it out .

Yes I know I maybe sounding a tad bit idealistic but don't we all need to aspire towards the ideal once in awhile?
I don't want riots and protests , forget what the iliterates on the forum who support Tinubu say that Bayo Onanuga will arrest all who posted online against Tinubu, 🤣
Trust me Tinubu will never subscribe to such nonsensical Draconian tactics it will back fire. Already the whole world will be watching him with this election drama and the Endsars bagagge so Asiwaju will stay far away from that rubbish

We need to heal as a nation. And most of the youths on both sides are too emotional hence we need the leaders to take charge and start the healing. The damage done is massive and it will take far longer to heal but we need to start .

We cannot continue this way except we want a civil war. We must all come together and move past this election. Sometimes you accept a little wrong for a greater right tomorrow.

Yes we are all still angry at the obvious robbery of a presidential election we witnessed. I am still bitter too, but sometimes we need to know the difference between the way things are and the way things should be.

This wasn't a free an fair election yes , but lessons where learned on both sides. We need to find a way to let this go and help rebuild this. Nation .
No accepting this situation doesn't mean we are weak or foolish and idiots no, it just means we are willing to take an L now for the greater good and help rebuild
Forget all the online banter Tinubu doesn't hate Igbos, Ino , all this is just banter and talk, it's those his TRIBALISTIC supporters online that Habe done the damage to his reputation with their tribalsim that have encouraged this wrong narative . Those touts and iliterate supporters of Tinubu online (many are on this forum) are the ones who have done his reputation this damage without knowing . .

I want to plead with Obidients, who are youths just like me. Ignore those thugs and iliterates. Just as we also have amongst us some rather uncivilized thugs too who have painted us bad . Let us try and just give this man 4 years , let us help rebuild
The whole universe knows that if they were to do a new election now Asiwaju cannot defeat Peter Obi now. Infact it is even worse now because of the rigging so let us let him try for his first term

We all know that there is no Jupiter that can help Asiwaju rig Peter Obi out again , e no go work! And Asiwaju knows this ! Meaning he knows he has to earn a reelection! He can't rely on rigging or propaganda again. I believe he will work hard to fix Nigeria . Everyone done tire for all the hardships and drama. Let us give them a chance to buy us back with good governance .

We already have a tout leader in Peter Obi. We have nothing to loose or prove it's they that have everything to prove., But they can't do it alone, they need our help

Good read. However, I can't in good faith accept anything about this election or it's results.

Put yourself in this shoes. you live in Lagos, you own a property in Lagos, paid and pay all income and property tax as accrued in Lagos, contributed in cash and kind to develop your community in Lagos.

And when it's time to execute your civic right in voting which is the barest minimum really, some thugs who have probably not earned a honest taxable income in their lives, who have not seen a land use charge invoice from LASG before, who have never contributed anything voluntarily in their lives before was engaged to prevent you from exercising that civic right?

Nah, man. It will not be accepted and I am moving on in my own direction. Just like Buhari whose failure was seen miles away before his tenure started; this one has been laid on a foundation of air; and there's nowhere else to go but down. Things MUST be done right and that is where I will forever stand as a person.

Gracias.
