This Subsidy removal is a big threat to my phone charging business. I just can't stop thinking of the negative impacts it will have on this my small business.

Even at almost N200 per liter, it still affect me somehow. Imagine if subsidy is removed, that means petrol might sell for at least N300 or up to N500 per liter, literally puting me out of business, if I don't think of an alternative.

I'm really worried, and could use some helpful advice. Thank you

I am sorry to disappoint both you and Op. There is no tangible government scheme anywhere to relieve the masses of the impending subsidy effect.

Buhar!'s government is the worst i have seen anywhere in the world. The corruption masquerading as clueless-ness and the ease at which they seems confident operating in it; is mindbogglingly and should be taught in schools as a separate course.

We all agree subsidy must go. But it seems this present government is hoping to take advantage of the situation and loot. Because how can someone believes a federal government without database, without concrete statistics asides guess work done by NBS; Hoping to start sharing less than 5000 to 15million poor citizens as subsidy relieve package.

Who are the poor citizens?
What criteria will be use to determine the poor citizens?
Where is the government hoping to find them?Same government without records or database.
Are we going to see the list of beneficiary after the money is disbursed?

What can 5000 do for an average citizen, talkmore of poor citizens? What business can one start with 5k, what business can one boost with 5k? .

This is not just a misplaced priority from the government neither is it clueless-ness It is a deliberate attempt to siphon money and swim in corruption. Just like during lockdown; the billions donated by World bank, WHO, and other countries. Where are they? What about the relieve money donated by Dangote, Alakija, otedola and others . Where is the money?

Just like N-Power, just like tradermoni, just like school feeding programme where the minister said they she spend 10billion naira everyday to feed school children. These people are thieves and nothing more. Depend on them at your own peril.

What happen to investing the money in small refineries and subsequently powering the existing ones? What happen to investing the money in transportation to atleast serve as a relieve to commuters who will have to pay more. What happen to investing in other amenities that can reduce the harsh impact of the subsidy removal on the people?

How can a government be thinking of sharing money some imaginary poor people' instead of investing it in something tangible that can benefit everyone and that also has longtime advantage.

since dere was a scheme during the Covid 19 era for household through NiSRAL derr might be one for Subsidy also....

Nigerians would have no choice than to endure. We can't continue to be paying for subsidy of the oil which almost half must have been diverted to other countries.

Also it's time to reduce our debt ceiling which subsidy is taking chunk of it

I remember the household own na 500k my friend took 5 na for him parlor dem bring am for him dem jus tell him to provide 5 BVN and he will part way with 50k each...


Same with the Farmer Scheme by NiSRAL we all applied for we saw a slot of where the man say he go colet 15percent imagine 15percent from Loan money wey dem no dash us my Friend took it use the money travel out while me I go dey du strong head say I no du till now Shishi I no see.....

Dont worry ppl go still charge phone even if fuel price is 10000, ull even make more money cos ppl no go dey on gen for night again, if u make 3k a day, in a year days more than 1mill, why not go solar. And u will not buy fuel again. Assume a phone uses 5wh of electricity per hour of charge, a 100ah battery will give you 200 hours of charging time or simply put give you enough juice to power up to 100 phones a day assuming a max charge time of 2hrs. You only need 1 300W panel, total cost will be under 400k. This is actually best time fr the biz
