I think what should have been done before now is sending in personnel from the foreign ministry, our military and aid into Sudan to coordinate with Nigerians over there. Create a kind of safety for them while you prepare how to loot from the country given the recent opportunity.
It’s not rocket science to have stationed our own C-130 military aircraft and going into town to get people to safety. So we will wait till the cost estimate is arrived at and logistics planned with buses when we have naval ships to move some from the ports.

I wonder the caliber of people working in the FM.

Don't you read that those idiots fighting are burning down Airplane at their airport? This is not a riot its a war so all necessary careful teps should be use orelse those idiots will wreck havoc by vexing their anger on foreigners especially from Africa countries.

All that maters now is they should reach home safely.

At first they said it will be hard to evacuate but how did US get to evacuate their citizens from the conflict zone, now they want to evacuate by road.

You want to move into another country's airspace without permission? Where in the world is that done?

Your aircraft will be shut down asap and they're at liberty to do that without any implications because you've violated the rules and you can't cruise a ship over another country's shores without permission, that's violation of rules, that ship will be grounded

So the FG needs all security clearance before they can do anything, even if its the UNITED STATE that is going to evacuate her citizens, they'll still need to get clearance, not because they're the big brother of the world for that reason they have liberty to fly over a country's airspace or cruise by their shores.

Nigeria needs all security assurance before evacuate can be made.
